The Season’s Scene
The holidays are upon us and the hustle and bustle is already humming along at a brisk pace. Decorations are up, Santa is making his appearances, children’s patience is being tested, lists are being exchanged, guests are arriving and parties have been planned. It’s easy to get wrapped up in the logistics of the holidays and hard to find time to enjoy this special time of year. So, here are some events around town to help you slow down, get the family together to create some memories and savor this festive time of year.

Thornton Winterfest
December 13 6 – 9p.m.
December 14 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
December 15 6 – 9 p.m.
Bellco is proud to sponsor this holiday spectacular offering something for everyone. Visit with Santa, enjoy a holiday marketplace, an ice carving demonstration, ice skating, a beer garden, serenades from local choirs and a tree decorating contest and more! Parade of Lights
December 6 & 7
It’s a Denver tradition and a sight to behold. Enjoy dozens of wonderfully decorated floats, musical entertainment, performing arts and a visit from Santa all set against the backdrop of downtown Denver and the festive City and County Building. Learn more about the Parade of Lights.

Blossoms of Light Denver Botanic Gardens
November 29 – January 1
Take in an amazing display of beautiful lights, entertainment and music at the Botanic Gardens’ Blossoms of Light. Perfect for a family outing or a romantic evening…look for the mistletoe! Blossoms of Light at the Denver Botanic Gardens And don’t miss the awe-inspiring Trail of Lights at Chatfield. Stroll along the path under a canopy of thousands of lights while enjoying synchronized music and warm beverages.

Denver Zoo Lights
December 6 – January 5 5:30 – 9 p.m.
It’s a wild time at the Denver Zoo during the holidays with its annual Zoo Lights. From animated light sculptures, a lantern festival and acres of festive illuminations, Zoo Lights delivers a memorable adventure for the entire family during the holidays.
